The Embassy of France together with the Embassy of Germany organized an outreach on April 25th about the G20 action plan on food price volatility and agriculture. This event was the first meeting of the Washingtonian Embassies Group on Agriculture and Food Security.

On June 19, 2012, François Delattre, Ambassador of France to the United States, visited the Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C., the biggest convention of the U.S. dedicated to the food industry. Ambassador Delattre expressed his support to French companies who displayed their products.
